sonar hangs unless opened as admin in win7

i loaded my old sonar 1.3 on a 64 bit win7 and it hangs unless i run as admin. Didn't used to have to do that. Any thoughts?thanks much, bjh..

Comping is so easy in X3 I ended up slapping together snippets from multiple perfect takes

For years whenever I tracked something I would just play record the part over and over again until I had a virtually perfect take. Midi Track Conversions From Piano to Oboe for example

I start out with two identical piano MIDI tracks. I split them such so the first verse is on Track 1 ... the second verse on Track 3 the third on track 1 again. Importing drum loops from browser issue

The issue is when i drop the loop in a track it will not go where i drop it. It may go 10 seconds down the track or to the beginningof the track. wheres the setting for this please?..

ROLAND QUAD CAPTURE UNSEEN BY SONAR X3

It seems i've tried everything. Latest driver for Quad Capture is installed. My other DAW recognizes Quad Capture consistently and functions properly.Sonar X3e is consistenly blind to the Quad Capture interface. I re-installed Sonar, still no go. Any suggestions? X3e After changing preferences, system pauses for 10s., is this normal?

If I open the preferences dialog, it takes 10s after clicking "OK" or "Accept", before the system is usable again.
