Sonar X3 take lane behavior

I hate all the new comping tools with take lanes in Sonar X3 -- I've always split, overlapped, and crossfaded clips manually, which I was able to do in Sonar X2. X3 won't let me have overlapping clips in take lanes. Is there a way to go back to X2 behavior? Thanks, Shayne..

[Solved] Quirk when exporting audio

Occasionally this will happen when exporting audio: I "Select All" Go to: "Export Audio" and Sonar tells me that no audio has been selected.I then reboot Sonar and perform the EXACT same steps and the audio exports - no problems. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas?..

I would like to use the USB option with a windows laptop (not yet purchased). I'm running X3P. I have heard it's a great interface, but that it is unstable on windows. I would appreciate any advice from those who have tried it. james..
