waveform editing

hiya, Does any one know (i am sure someone does) if waveform editing is a possibility in x3 studio? I have just switched over from protools and need a little guidance in finding where the tools are to accomplish this. thanks for your time..

[Workaround] Hide Midi Velocity bars completely?

Does anyone know a way to permanently shut off displaying the vertical velocity bars at the beginning of a note in the PRV? I know how to shut them off via the Note menu, but that is only good for the time you are in the PRV. Leave and come back and so do the velocity bars. Thanks!..

Crash while mixing: file shows in folder, but unable to open...and it's an hour and a half

SONAR was stopped by an unknown process during mixdown (that hasn't happened to me before) but couldn't recover the audio file.
