Need X3 Users to weigh in on: PRV Controller Pane - Please make screensets absolute!

Feature request is closed (for now) but I wanted to see if we can get a pole started to see how many people believe that screensets would be more functional if they were made to be absolute. i.e. to say, a screenset should remember everything EXACTLY as it is set, and we should never have to reset ..

[Solved] Track info black, can't use Smart cursor

I've seen this before but it hasn't presented an issue, now I need to do some editing and finding it difficult... on a couple of tracks in the piece I'm working on, the audio information is black and I can't seem to use the Smart cursor, even though Smart is selected, it defaults to Draw... I read Dan's blog on de-essing and have to wonder why do it that way? It makes sense but why do it that way? I think the better way is to clone the vocal track your working on, archive it and then just do some simple editing. I find it easier to select the syllabants and do a gain reduction. It may ..

Serial Numbers Fiasco.

I finally took the plunge and updated to Sonar X3 Producer from Sonar 8 Producer. I downloaded all of the files, and now I can't install it because Cakewalk hasn't sent me the serial numbers yet. So now I guess I'm suppose just sit and play the waiting game. The webpage said it would take 15 minutes..

Problem with Sonar 8.5 and EZdrummer

So why does my Sonar 8.5 DAW still pick up the ED1 when I insert a soft synth? The list only shows one choice for drums, EZdrummer.
