How to determine what audio needs processing at mixdown?

In Sonar, when I go to mix down audio, Sonar first says "processing audio data". Once its done all that processing it will move on to mixing down audio. [Answered] How to copy Pro Channel EQ setting from one track to another ?

One can easily duplicate a vst setting by ctrl+dragging it to another track. How about the Pro Channel EQ ? ..and perhaps other PC modules as well. Thanks...

HS4 & yamaha AW16g

After I record my tracks on the AW16G, could I possibly use my homestudio software to do some of the editing? If I can, how do I import them onto my computer via the AW16g? Do I make a back up of the entire recording on a cd or connect the recorder to my computer with a usb plug? Some advice please...
