Upgraded MC6T to Sonar X3! First impressions (and concerns)

SEE LAST POST. I have Music Creator 6 Touch, and I would like to upgrade to Sonar X3 Studio via the Cakewalk website. I have chosen the download version instead of retail disc. How do I erase part of a clip

I performed a punch-in recording on top of a bad part of a vocal clip (SOS by mistake). The singer is gone. I need to get rid of the original since it comes thru under the good part of the vocal. I one project I inserted the Neve 88RS and made a new preset for it, save the preset - the preset show up in the preset list. Close the project.Open a new project, insert the Neve 88RS and the preset is not there. Why is the preset not showing up?..

Strange Thing Each Time I Open Sonar X3e

Each time I open Sonar Xe I am presented with a Dialog Box that asks the question ... "Do You Want to allow the following program to make changes to your computer" as it refers to "Sonar X3 Studio Patch". I recall having made no changes to the setup. The issue just mysteriously raised it's ugly head..
