MIDI dropout in X2 but not in Sonar 7

Suddenly 1/32 drum lagging

This morning I got TH2s looper working with a foot pedal that came with my keyboard. The problem is, it doesn't do any kind of crossfade. There are clicks if you come in playing... Am I doing something wrong? Anyone use the Guitar Rig looper? I haven't tried that one...
