Warning, new windows 8 update and quad capture (RESOLVED)

This morning my Windows 8.1 machine was automatically updated. I began to have bad problems with my quad capture. When I clicked on an mp3, file, it would not play, and had some weird server error message. Tried to play a wave in Sound Forge, and Sound Forge crashed. Tried Sonar, and had no sound. D..

Trouble with EZDrummer after X3 upgrade

I just upgraded to X3 from Sonar 8. It went relatively smoothly on win7. I installed as the 32 bit version. After the upgrade I opened a project I was working on that had ezdrummer. In Sonar 8 I had the midi split to individual tracks. All of my drum tracks show up in X3 but the audio is not routed ..

Improvements Only? - You Who Have Upgraded to X3e From X3(earlier)

ACT, ProChannel FX Chains and MIDI control of effect parameters - such an ordeal in Sonar!

I've recently been trying to get to grips with ACT, it's about time However, as I have discovered, while you can map the controls of a VST in the effects bin to your controllers, you cannot map the controls of a VST in a ProChannel FX Chain. Is this correct? If so, it seems to be a ridiculous limita..

Kuassa Amp Sims Feedback in Sonar

Does anyone else get feedback as soon as you insert any of the Kuassa Amplifikation VST's in the fx bin or as a ProChannel fx chain? It doesn't matter if it's a live input or not. Gain input level makes no difference either. They work great on 4 other DAW's just not Sonar. They are among my favorite..
