installing sonar over a wifi network?

I am looking to install X3 onto my Surface Pro - but as there is limited power available to the USB port (ie my backup USB hard drive will not run because of lack of power), I was wondering if it is possible to install it over the wifi network - I know it will be slow, but perhaps not as slow as man..

X3e - Zoom using Z+Click/drag Still Not Working Correctly [Some Discoveries]

X3e crashing all the time when using external synths and vst's

Just had to uninstall x3e as it was crashing all the time when I used external synths eg Rob Papen synths and plugins eg slate digital fgx. Had no problems with x3d. Is anyone else experiencing these issues?..
