Sonar x2 anddirectx plugins

I installed BIAB 2014. It has a vinyl restorer plugin in the powertrax directx plugins folder. I tried to copy it over to the folder where all the cakewalk directx dlls are located. How do I get sonar to see it. (I'm using win7 64bit, FWIW). I installed BIAB after Sonar, so this isn't a shar..

Just downloaded and installed the update!! I've played around a bit and everything feels more solid and stable than before. ..And X3d already WAS stable! It looks like they've updated the UI a bit too! (Or maybe it's just my imagination) .But the UI looks cleaner and more polished somehow.. :) Ctrl+..

Track Editing Workflow Help?

Hey All, I am using X2 and can get my work done but the workflow is not that smooth.For instance, to split a wave I have to be in split mode. Then to edit the ends I have to switch to edit mode. FX Chain module resets X3c

Not sure if this is a known bug or not but I was surprised by how something so fundamental is buggy. If you save an FX Chain presetthe In and out sliders reset to 0 when you re-open that chain. Anybody else confirm, then I'll submit it. Sonar X3c, x64, Win 7 x64 3930k..

Chopped vocal dj needle or vocoder effect - pro channel expander gate? ah ah ah you ready

How would you get the chopped vocal effect like in this song? I was thinking maybe a vocoder synth track with the prochannel elcexpander gate with side chain to another track for the opening and closing? Any ideas? Here is what I am trying to achieve. Why can't we SEND to a new track instead of only busses?

Forgive me, but I'm no search whiz. I've tried but can't find an answer. I keep watching tutorial videos on YouTube and Groove3 and they SEND to new tracks. AFAIK we can't do that.
