Midi Controller for Sonar Producer

Hi, What's a good midi controller these days to work with Sonar Producer. Usb connect to PC. 60 or so normal size keys would be nice, I don't need built in sounds because I just want to work inside Sonar. All bounces are NOT created equal!

Sound Forge grayed out on some files but not others

so if i create a wav file (for example using synthesis function in SF) and insert into X3c, then Sound Forge isn't grayed out in utilities menu.But if i insert a loop file that i bought, sound forge is grayed out. i am sure i followed instructions on adding SF to utilities menu - and it does work on..
