Problem with ezDrummer copy/paste loop

I used to be able to take an ezDrummer beat and put it onto the MIDI track in Sonar 8.5, then go to Properties and enable Groove-Clip looping. I would then click on the clip to highlight it, copy it, and then align the mouse at the end of the clip and copy the clip multiple times. I could then press..

NPR Radio Mikes - Deadness of Radio Studio

In the latest Parks and Rec, Knope does a show on NPR. The sound of the studio mikes are noticeably quiet and quieter than the audio when the actors are in the office. Is this just the lack of reverb in a radio studio, or do they put some kind of gate to "deaden" the noise?..

How to copy/paste + overwrite in SONAR X3?

I want to for example paste bass note 1 on top of bass note 3 overwriting bass note 3 so I don't hear both. I know I could pre-delete note 3, but I'm thinking there must be a way to avoid that step?..
