Audio device stopped unexpectedly error

new computer - media browser hangs - drive or audio or auto-preview issue?

On a new computer with X3d, the media browser is very buggy. Auditioning files, every 5 or 6 times I click on a wav file it hangs (browser - not responding) for maybe 15-20 seconds before playing the file. When it doesn't hang the audition is instantaneous. Track View - Select a track

Has anyone any idea what the little triangle on the track number in track view does? You can select one or more of these little triangles and yet still have an individual track selected. This has been in Sonar since the early days but does not seem to be a feature in the Sonar X Series. Kev..

mp3 Encoder Upgrade?

Anyone get this message? "The MP3 Encoder must be unlocked before use. Please visit cakewalk..." Do we really have to pay extra for an encoder? Superior drummer & Sonar X1

I like to use Superior drummer, but would like to replace the kick & snare with samples I downloaded off the net.I cannot load samples from other manufactures into Superior, but I know people do it. How is it done? Do I need a separate trigger program?..
