quick X3 question

I asked this in another thread but it's buried 20 posts in. In Win7/X3 when I do rudimentary midi tasks such as drag-and-copy, split clips, quantize a clip, transpose a clip, move a clip, etc, I get the spinning blue wheel for what I estimate is maybe 1/4 second. Session D 3 not looping part A?

Just noticed this today when I went to sample some beats in SD3 - all parts except part A will react to the Loop button...A simply plays the pattern once and stops...an dyes the loop button lit, or highlighted Can anyone else see if it happens please, before I write off to CW? Thanks..

RME TotalMix and SONAR - how are you using it?

I am trying to be more efficient with the UFX and SONAR. I have never created mix groups or mix presets with it. Recently, a few recording sessions have proven that if I had them already setup, recording would be much quicker when recording different groups/people on a regular basis. A few questions..

Faderport not working for me

I'm now on Windows 8.1 64bit running X3b 64bit. I've correctly set up the Faderport so that the Faderport can be selected from the list of control surfaces. Recording Audio - I'm sure there is no way to do this but.....
