setting up session drummer

I can't work out how to write midi patterns that will trigger session drummer in x3. I have loaded a kit, I can click on the drums and a single sound can be heard, I can load a pattern and that can be heard. Step sequencer in greyed out, piano roll is silent.Thanks...

OP-X (and OP-X II) VST not retaining preset/patch settings in X3 Producer x64

I was wondering if anyone else had this issue. I've had OP-X and OP-X II (both 32bit VSTs) for a while. When I moved to X3, I made the leap from 32bit to x64 in Sonar. original clip gone in v-vocal

Up to X2, in v-vocal, the original clip would stay behind the vvocal clip (muted). now in x3, the original clip seems to be gone. is this correct? No 2nd chance?..
