X3 Producer Demo issues SOLVED

Here is a strange one: Downloaded the x3 demo ( used Chrome. Win Exp 11 wasn't downloading the file correctly). Installed and fired it up. The fly out eq is really nice, but.... No vst 3 instruments/ effects are showing in the browser, and my registered copy of Melodyne editor is not available..
