Upgrade to X3 Producer has static

So, I just upgraded to X3 Producer. When I loaded a project recorded in studio and playback I get a short burst of static about every 15 seconds or so. All other sounds are completely cut out. I tried playing the project back in Studio and the same thing happened. Any thoughts? Thanks, Keithr41..
