Need to use Nectar2 as both synth AND tempo-based effect

I used to duplicate the *.dll and configure one as a synth and the other as a tempo-based effect so I could use Nectar in whichever way I wished. Now with VST3 this isn't possible as Sonar only detects one version of the plugin. So how can I either configure Nectar for both usages of tempo-based eff..

Patch Names for the Roland XP-80 Expansion Boards

My version of SONAR X1 Studio came with all of the ins files for my XP-80. The only problem is that the expansion boards have only numbers identifying the patches. External hard disk 7200 rpm and usb 2

Hi I have a hard disk that spins at 5,400 RPM in my laptop. Would that make a difference (performance) working on an external hard disk 7200 rpm with usb 2 connection? I've already checked to change the hard disk of my laptop but found it to expensive. Any advices? Thanks..
