Melodyne Essential Out of serial numbers

I just upgraded to X3, and I'm getting this message in the downloads area of my account. I'm guessing this is a temporary thing? That's the main new toy I was hoping to play with, any idea when there will be more serial numbers available?update: It's there now...

Gain automation - is it possible?

I want to automate the levels of gain in a track? I want to use gain rather than volume because I want to still be able to mix the overall volume level with the volume slider. Or do I have to automate the volume and use the gain knob to mix the overall track level? Or something else ..?..

Timing Issue with Sonar 7 Producer

I am working on a project with 8 audio tracks. I have been recording parts for a couple of days............all of a sudden the timing is off between the tracks. It is very slight but noticeable. What should I check? I am using Windows XP...

has anyone used Sonar 3 PE with either BFD2 or Superior Drummer 2.0 ?

I am trying to confirm if either of these virtual drum packages will work with my system: Windows XP sp3Sonar 3 Producer Edition I was intending on purchasing the new BFD3 but it unfortunatley doesn't run on Windows XP. Edit single song from live recording

What is the best method or work flow to Edit a single song from an hour long live recording? Is there an easy way to set up FX, busing, etc. for the whole hour long set and then chop out the individual songs to be be tweaked further?..

Latest word on UAD2 info/stability?

I was just curious.. if anyone had any thoughts/experience with the UAD2 platform.. and Sonar X3d. Are they playing nice together now? Or is there still some issues? Any word from either camp (Cakewalk or UA) on possible causes or fixes if it is not sorted out yet? I am not near "mixing" stages yet ..
