session drummer 3 and external wav drum sounds

I'm very confused. I was having playback problems in large projects, so decided it was time to upgrade my RAM; Went from 3 Gb to 7 Gb. Nothing has changed. Freezing / unfreezing resets guitar rig, TH2- sometimes can't unfreeze
