Windows Media Player won't play simultaneously with Sonar in WIN 7

Occasionally I like to play a wav file or mp3 using Win Media Player while also playing sonar, so I can match a tempo. In other words, if I need to demo a song, I want to find out the exact tempo, so I'll play the wav or mp3 using Win Media Player and then hit play on Sonar so my drum loop will play..
