Should I upgrade?

So I get this card in the mail saying I can upgrade to Sonar X3 for just 49.00. I am currently on Sonar 8.5 Producer. I plan to get or build a new rig in a few months, when I retire. Haven't decided what DAW to go with then. I may stick with Sonar, try Cubase or even Reaper. I hear a lot about glitc..

I've been using the PSP plugins for mastering and I like them a lot. I'm just curious if anyone knows the best order to put the compressor, limiter, EQ, or whatever so they sound/work best? Thanks...

Copying and pasting automation envelopes just doesn't seem that accurate

Example: I have two identical MIDI clips, one after the other. The synth is being sent to a bus with a delay on it. I only want the delay to affect certain notes of the clips, so I create an envelope to automate the send level. It works perfectly for the first clip, so I copy and paste the envelope ..

[SOLVED] All Of A Sudden X2 Is "Unable to open audio playback device."
