Changing channel on Midi track

I have imported a midi track that was exported from another program. The midi file is showing it is on channel 8 as viewed from the events list. Looking for a method to change the channel 8 to channel 1 in the events list other than one event at a time. Is there global method for a track? Regards,La..

Clean slate - Sonar x3 upgrade (Download Version- upgrade)

If I buy the Download Version of X3, do I need to have a previous installed version to update, or is it basically a fresh install?I'm assuming the later as Sonar 8.5 is not Windows 8 compatible, so a Windows 8 laptop would need the whole thing.Cheers..
