Bounce to clips moves clips to different used lane (Sonar X3)

In Sonar X3 I have used v-vocal to edit my clips in take lanes and now I would like to bounce them to clips so they are easier to chop up and move sections around. When I select the v-vocal clips and its muted counter part underneath it and select bounce to clips it not only moves the clip to anothe..

Hi... just wondering what programs do people add to the utilities menu? I've just added Wavosaur and it works quite well.... but maybe some people have a unique approach to this feature in Sonar.....
