Any way to control play stop with a pedal, when not the focus?

Hi, I want to use Sonar Live and to be able to trigger play whilst controlling a vst synth running in Sonar. Everything I've tried seems to need focus. So if it's on the softsynth it won't control playback and if it's on the main screen I can't control the synth. Any solutions to this problem?..

HowdieI just ordered the X3 download (X2 Upgrade). Do I need to download and install Dimension or is it the same version that is installed with my X2?Will the newly downloaded X3 have the X3C already in this version or do I need to install that as well? Thanks..

Problem with console view in X3c

Anyone else have this problem... when a project is playing and I click on a widget in the one of the bus channels sonar crashes. Since X3c I get a message from windows almost like a security message that sonar is trying to make a change to a hard drive - then it crashes. It has never been a big deal..
