X3 for Vista?

I understand that X3 is certified for Win 7&8 but not Vista/XP. My system is running fine with Vista and I would not relish the thought of having to re-install multiple programs over many hours to upgrade to WIN 7 (I HATE Win 8!).This leads to my question: Is there any technical reason why X3 wo..

VST scan on startup quirky in X3Pro

So far I'm really liking X3cPro. But my VST scan on startup is a little weird. Sometimes it doesn't come on or show the scan dialog at all. Sometimes it scans for just a second or two then goes away. And sometimes...quite often, in fact...it comes on and says "searching for plugs" ..

cakewalk bundle doesn't unpack correctly....

i'm a sonar 8.5 user and i'm working with another producer who uses x3. he asked that i save my project as a .cwb and send. he contacted me recently and stated there were several tracks that didn't seem to belong where they should be; i.e., a kick drum and a vocal track had somehow morphed into one ..
