New x2 user here, had a few questions. I have recorded 6 channels of drums without a click. how do i get the tracks lined up to the metronome in x2? I plan on using audiosnap to fix timing issues as well. Any tips would be helpfultotal beginner here!..

I'm a guitarist and the idea of midi guitar sounds is a little silly for me. If I want guitar, I play one. But Strum Guitar is new, so I copied the pad midi track and ran it to Strum Guitar to hear it... And there we have it... the name of the chords being played!! Without me having to type them in!..

tempo question

i'm trying to set up a drum loop, composed of snares hihats and kicks. i'm using the piano roll view. i want to set the kick every sec. i'm then groove-clipping. the time i hear the kick is not one sec but longer. the tempo is 120 4/4. is that the problem?..

[Answered] Question about sending MIDI to external synth

I have MIDI out connected to the MIDI input of my external synth. In X3, when I play my regular (bigger, better) keyboard, the MIDI is routed to my synth, and I get sound from my synth -- that's good! However, when I play the MIDI back (via transport), the MIDI in the track doesn't seem to be going ..

bugs : : comping, and midi

So I had a percussionist in the studio this morning, playing battery via pads.. about a dozen takes laying down a track for a song. I am left with a complete and total mess. I wish to comp the takes to get the best take then go in to surgically fix whatevers left.. ie just like I would with audio.. ..
