Starting Sonar it asks for User account? PC problem

Well I must have done something because now when I run Sonar, it wants to know which user acct to run it with. Admin is one choice but I have no idea what password it wants, not having used admin. Problem tho, the default is current user which also needs a passwd and I have none, which it won't acc..

Track Names Disappeared in Track View in Sonar X1

Hi guys! It appears my track names in Track View have gone awol. I'm not sure what I did to make them disappear but I'd really like them back! Any ideas? Actually, I realized I just needed to open the window a little more but apparently I can't find a way to delete posts on the forum so it's all goo..

Drag and Drop audio import

Is there any reason why this does not work? Or am I just doing it wrong? Sometimes I find it kind of a hassle to use the browser or import dialog for basic find-a-file-and-use-it stuff. Afaik all other DAWs do this. Certainly I do it with Ableton all the time...

Using Melodyne to create a realistic 12-string sound

At least, it sounds realistic to me, but I'm not a guitar player. I had a MIDI file for piano. I ran this through the Strum Acoustic VST. With surprisingly few MIDI edits, this sounded pretty realistic to me. I then bounced that to an audio track that I ran into Melodyne Editor, selecting the polyph..

good morning everyone. I have an engineer/producer question. I will try and make myself as clear as possible. I have a song with 16 tracks, I have 3 guitar solo tracks that I have routed to a bus that has the VC-64 on it. my question is, when I bounce or mix down the song to a stereo track do I MUTE..

X2: Can't seem to insert a second PC4K S-Type compressor on a bus.

I could have sworn that we were now able to put to of the same module in the PC but when I hit the + button the PC4K S-Type is not on the list. This is on a bus. I don't NEED this right now but I likely will soon enough to do some two stage compression. Am I missing something here? Thanks...

Crap... X3c didn't fix the pops and clicks
