Latency with MIDI device only in Sonar artist

tracks out of alignment

I have a midi track for vibes and a midi track for percussion...........they do not "sync" I.e quarter notes for each track show identical start times and values but the playback is not aligned one track to another..

I’m wanting to put sonar on my desktop. I’ve had it on my laptop since platinum was released. I plan to continue to us it.
