plug in manager won't recognize waves 9

just acquired waves 9 and i believed i'd installed it into my cakewalk vst/plugins folder. however, while i see the program installed on my computer, the plugins are not in the waves folder, nor does the 'scan for plug-ins seem to see it in sonar 8.5. what seems to be missing? as an aside, it might ..

Adding outputs

If you already have a VST open, such as Play or Aria, and you only have 4 outputs running (because you deleted the rest), how do add new outputs? Or do have to start over, insert a new synth with all 8 or 10 outputs?..

move multiple tracks

How do you move multiple tracks in the track view? I found out how to move them into folders and separately. Even if several tracks are selected only the track I'm holding is moved...

Motorboating in X3

I've discovered that when I quit working in X3b for a while, about an hour, it will begin "motorboating". This is with a project begun in X2 that only uses PC modules and plug ins that came with X2. Melodyne question for Noel

I already had the full Medlodyne suite. The install went great, and i see the full version in ARA.
