Cpu optimization

Hi all! I just had a windows 7 clean install and i was searching where can i find the thread that talks about setting up cores so it wont park. Any help is appreciated. Thanks...

Why do I have to use MME drivers?

Haven't been here for a long while so please excuse if this question is passé. I'm using Sonar X1; Windows 7; and Roland Dup Capture. It won't let me use WDM drivers, only MME. Why is this? thanks, Reed..

Upgrade question

I know it says Cakewalk doesn't support anything but Windows 7 or Windows 8. My PC has Vista and I'd like to upgrade to X3 but I don't want to upgrade my PC to do it. Would X3 run on a Vista machine? Down the road I'll probably upgrade my PC but right now I can't..

just so you know....it's a $149 dollar program that comes included with X3....pretty good deal if you ask me....Do you really want to leave a $149 dollar program on the table ??..

installing the upgrade after rebuliding my "C" drive,

If I were to clean my C drive and re-install windows 7 will I have t re-install X1 and X2 with all their patches before installing X3? i hope not but I fear the answer. Thanks..

Problem with Orion 32

Sonar X3b is recognizing only the odd numbered inputs and outputs on my Antelope Orion 32 (connected via USB) with latest Orion asio driver. Is anyone else having this problem? Anyone have a suggestion? Antelope says its a problem with Sonar. (This is also my first visit to this forum so I hope this..

X2 Project not responding

Have a project in X2 that I was trying to mixdown to stereo...multiple crashes on multiple attempts, so I froze all synth tracksand audio tracks and increased latency and buffers to allow for a smooth mixdown. Now the project loads but hangs on the first click. Subsequent clicks get (not responding)..

X3 Producer W/2 Hardrives ?

Hey fellows I recently just up-graded again to X3 Producer and have 8.5,X1, X2a on this computer in Windows 7 and have recently just installed another Sata 1TB 7200 HD to the mix and it's loaded ready to go.Can you guys give me some details of what I should put where and how to do it. I have X3 down..
