We need a proper download manager.

So, in many parts of the world, internet is still not that fast yest. South Africa is one of those places (unless you're willing to pay BIG bucks). I don't mind letting a download run overnight, but can CW seriously not come up with a download manager that handles things like Pause and PC restart..

Melodyne Bouncing question

Does everyone bounce the clips that they tune with Melodyne once complete? Or do you just leave em be, and if so, do they end up causing your PC to work harder than needed? I'm coming from Melodyne plugin (X1 and before) and I would bounce each clip I tuned to a new clip so as not to overwork my ..

X3 - getting midi output from a synth to another track - no way to get that working...

Tried according to help - hear s soft synth's MIDI output through another track.From an audio track I can select input from a synth.And basically you do the same with midi track - select input from a synths midi out - but no action.Synths output is checked for midi out as it should beEcho is onI als..

Recording In a Small Room

For the more experience producers in this forum, if you record in a small room do you have any wall treatments to help take away some of reflections of sound off the wall? If so what do you use, I have always wondered if Egg crate foam would work as a cheap work around?..

Melodyne (ARA) Signal Path?

I know when I used Melodyne Editor in the FX bin it had to be the first in chain. Delays and reverbs would throw it off. So when I open Melodyne in X3 with ARA intregration, where is it located in the signal chain? Do I need to do edits without any effects? -BC..

Paste acting weird in X2

I have been using X2 now for about 2 weeks (took advantage of cheaper upgrade), however, paste seems to be acting weird. I select the range to be copied, then select 'paste special' and the location in the track, hit 'enter' and the paste appears in the new location...... but, there is always a blan..

VST3 Support?

Can anyone comment on X3's support for VST3? Side chaining? I have some Waves VST3 Plug-ins and would like to know how well X3 supports any of the Waves VST3 plugs. I have been a strong proponent for VST3 support in the past...I knew it would only be a matter of time before the bakers would break do..
