Question about FX Chains in Sonar X3

Can anyone tell me if it is advantageous to run FX Chains as opposed to a group of individual audio efx from a sampling/bit rate perspective?What I am getting at is this: if the efx are in an FX Chain, will the sample/bit rate remain in a more desirable state as opposed to going in and out of each p..

Hip Hop Mix Template - Mix Bus

In the SPlat hip hop mix template, there's a mix bus that seems to do mastering. This mix bus has two master fx chains: Louder and Scooped, and Smooth, and it sends to a parallel compression bus. Is it correct to assume that the export is both mixed and mastered and no further work needs to be done?..

Weird problem since the Windows update

Ever since I updated Windows the other day, the volume on my interface is being reset to zero when Sonar loads a project. It's an RME Babyface so it has no "physical" volume control, just a free spinning rotary on the front which has the same functionality as using the fader in the interface softwar..

Control/Record Volume, Panning or other

Basically what I have been doing for a LONGGGGG time is laying down a track the going back and editing the volume, panning and other artifacts of the track manually. Is there a way to do it while I'm listening to the track I just recorded and using my Surface Controller to write the volume changes ..

I started off with Twelve Tone/Cakewalk when it was still MIDI only on early Windows and have progressed through to SONAR X3 Producer. I did try lifetime support with SONAR Artist for a while but decided to abandon that in favour of the standalone X3, a decision that now seems to have been wise. ..
