To Bleed or Not To Bleed in Live Drum Recording is the Question

I am recording live kit with hats, top and bottom snare, toms, overhead and room mic. What is the more professional sound, taking time to clean up all the bleed from other tracks and have just the hits or leave the bleed and gate the mics best you can? USB 2.0 vs 3.0

Any thoughts? I just switched my audio interface USB input from the USB 3.0 port to the 2.0 port to see what happens. I've heard there are issues with 3.0...Windows 7 backup will only work on 2.0 on my system. Thanks...

(Solved) Saffire Pro 40 MIDI vanished after X3b

I just fired up X3b and got the message that no MIDI outputs have been selected. When the preferences page opened, my Saffire was no longer on the MIDI device list. Anyone ever experience this?..
