Access to files from another Windows

Hi there:) I've installed Sonar X2a on two Partitions: Windows 7 64 bit, SSD with Windows and one Record Partition Windows 8 64 bit, Normal Hdd and the same Record Partition on the SSD I don't know when, but I don't think I'v changed anything, I can't open some Files, which I worked on the Windows 7..

Colouring Tracks - whats best?

Now that we have the ability to colour our tracks.... is there standard for what track colours should be? Ie. Bass, guitar, drums etc. The reason why I ask is that it would be easy to recognise any sonar Project and find Your way around if sharing via Gobbler.I would also like to get into a routine..

Komplete SoftSynths no longer labeled by output channel counts

Pre- Sonar X3, if one has Kontakt installed, it would appear in the browser as something akin to Kontakt 5 (16 out)Kontakt 5 (64 out) Kontakt 5 (8 out). Post-X3 (or, more likely, post X3's VST scanner). these same entries now appear as Kontakt 5Kontakt 5Kontakt 5. I had to memorize their order..

Stopping effects tails in X3?

Just wondering how I might stop the effects tails from playing on after the end of the clip in X3 (i.e. stopping when the clip ends). I recall that there was a checkbox in preferences in previous versions, but this seems to have disappeared in X3. I never used it in previous versions. I just wanted ..

How do folks go about inserting an "a tempo" ie a free tempo measure or two?.. clearly I would need to align the start of the next solid tempo in time.. so is this possible or do I need to calculate a fake tempo based upon the time ruler and insert that?.. thx..

One simple question about X3 Take Lanes

Korg Kronos and Sonar 8.3.1

I've recently purchased the Korg Kronos 88 (I used to have the 61 versión, and had exactly the same problem...) and can't seem to get it to work as a MIDI controller in Sonar 8.3.1.
