A few thoughts on X3 and some minor issues and praises ..

Yesterday I added Sonitus Gate to a new bus , when I created a new bus it added it as surround when I choose new stereo bus, when I drag and dropped a loop to a blank track it automatically added that track to a surround bus instead of a stereo bus. Store download problem?

Anyone out there trying to download X3 and having the part 2 and part 3 just resetting when you go there to download? I got the part 1 downloaded but those 2 links are acting flaky. Thanks. Jeff..

[Answered] M-Audio Fast Track Ultra Users: Drivers 6.1.9 do not work with Sonar X1 64

On my Win7-64 machine running Sonar X1, the latest drivers for the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra (driver version 6.1.9) found on the Avid site: do not seem to work: they are not recognized nor do they show up in the Preferences Drivers window on Sonar X1. Reverting to version 6.0.8 corrected the problem...

[Answered] X2 to X3 Prod upgrade: Reinstall Dim Pro and Rapture or leave old versions?

Just bought X3 Producer, and while it's downloading, I'm wondering what the best practice is for migrating Dim Pro and Rapture, which of course I already have installed. The version numbers are the same, so (AFAIK) no changes there. But the serials and reg codes are different.... How are you guys ha..

Dissapointment at IMSTA

Earlier today I went to the SAE Institute here in NYC in the hopes to get a glimpse of X3. I was waiting in line to check-in at IMSTA when I checked my phone and read the Introducing Sonar X3 e-mail. My excitement grew. I quickly found the Cakewalk room and saw X3 on the monitor. It looked very nice..
