Why won't effects plugins stay in my Multidock when I save the project?

The console stays in the Multidock, as does the browser and any instruments that I dock there. But if I dock effects in there, they don't save with the project. When I reopen the project they've disappeared. This has always been a source of frustration and I guess I'm finally asking about it, lol.....

Gobbler sign up....

I tried out the Gobbler feature and it says I have to register before October 1st to get 5gigs of free space...so I signed up right away. I thought you were supposed to get the 5 gigs of space just by having X3, I don't know. But I got it anyway...

I think I'm going bottom of the line SONAR X3

It's not that I'm unable to afford the Pro version but it contains so much add on stuff that I won't even bother to install. From what I've learned from a post by Noel, ARA and VST3 support exists in the basic X3 product. So from that I assume that my existing Melodyne 2.1.1 Editor should integrate ..

Should I delete my current Melodyne single track before download?

I know Sonar will provide a serial number (for Melodyne single track) with the purchase of X3. I don't want to lose the one I've bought. If I delete it, Sonar won't recognize it, and I should be able to register the new one and have the old one in my melodyne account right? I'm thinking it would mak..

Mastering in 8.5

I am finding it difficult to understand the mastering process in 8.5 and tend to get impatient and use Sound Forge instead. Pre Sonar X Series legacy project color issue

Opened a Sonar 7 or 8 project in X3 and colored a bus channel. I expected the tracks that are assigned to that bus to change to the color of the bus. They did not. And would not. Further testing on a legacy X2 project and the track colors would follow the bus colors...
