X3 is definitely the prettiest DAW out there

I haven't bought it yet so I can't comment on functionality or stability. But having done the rounds at the IMSTA show today I can definitely say that X3 is the best looking DAW out there, in comparison to FL, Cubase, Studio One, Ableton etc. It's nothing short of eye candy with the new ..

Avast is reporting viruses in the X3 downloads

Anybody else seeing this? Threat: Win32Evo-gen The only way I can get this installed is to turn of the antivirus temporarily, and that is not a very good idea. Showing up on Part1 and part2 of the Producer install...

I want an X2b - NOT X3 for MORE money!!

Did I miss the X2b announcement? I do not want to spend anl upgrade price on X3 if the stuff from X2 is not fixed. I would have to get a significant discount to get X3. I hated X2 but upgraded before knowing that becuae I thought I was a cakewalk loyal customer. Where is the X2b update??..

Sonar X3part 1 install file corrupted ?

I get a message that a fatal error is in this file and is corrupted. I have downloaded the file twice and get the error message both times. I deleted the first one before redownloading it again. Anyone got a guess as to what might be causing this ?..

Possible feature request now that we have vst3

Since vst3 allows for the resizing of the vst gui, would it be possible program a way to load a vst3 directly into prochannel without using an fxchain as a host? If so then the gui could just be shrunk to fit in the PC strip and a flyout button to expand to full size. Just a thought...
