SONAR 8.5.3 Producer DX Plugins Crashes SONAR

I am having issues when trying to use the Cakewalk DX (Dirext X plugins). Every-time I try and insert a plugin SONAR crashes and I get the Aero egg-timer. The VST ones are fine, its just the DX ones. I have DX 11 installed on my Windows 7 Pro x64 system. Any ideas?..

MIDI file's doubling of notes visible in staff view. What might have caused this?

Hello -I'm trying to find a book to help me learn how to use SONAR Artist. I had a book by Scott Garrigus for SONAR 6 and notice he has another book for SONAR X3. Is SONAR X3 the same OS as SONAR Artist? If not, can anyone recommend a good book for SONAR Artist? Thanks!..

Starting Sonar while holding shift makes "Demo Mode"??????

As I was trying to find the stock mastering templates in the start screen, I tried starting Sonar Platinum by holding the shift key upon startup and found that I was in Demo mode...as if I didn't "own" the software??? Any thoughts?..
