How do you people work around this with your laptops?

My laptop has 3 usb ports, two usb 2, one usb 3. I have a mouse plugged into one of the usb 2 ports. I have read that your sound card should be put on a port by itself, and that most sound cards do not work well with usb 3. X2a Piano roll , midi and audio-track recording / editing disaster !

EQ settings disappear in Sonar x2 Essentials

I"m working along, mixing my project, and I look up and the EQ on ever channel is suddenly flat. I"m using the built in EQ on the channel strips. The on/off button at the top of each strip will still be "lit"/on, and I think it still has my frequency and Q settings, and the bands are still enabled. ..

SOLVED: Studioware not loading

I have recently had cause to re-visit using studioware panels in Sonar X2 but when selecting them they do not open. I was aware that X2 cannot create them but the manual says they can be loaded.. Also the "factory" studioware panels don't seem to be installed, is it required to install them separate..

Automating send level doesn't change the send knob?

I'm automating the send level on a track. While I hear the automation working (it's the send to a reverb bus), the level knob for that send doesn't change with the automation. Is this a bug?..
