Thinking about upgrade to sonar x2 from sonar x1

Hi! I have been using sonar x1 and it works great. I am thinking about upgrade to x2. Could you please xplain me if x2 installs as a separate application so X1 will remain intact? Thanks in advance and please excuse my english...

Is there anyway to send guitar audio to convert it to midi?

Hi, I've searched the web for ideas on how to convert audio to midi, found something about audio transients, not so sure about this as it talks about drum tracks. tried it out and found I could copy the "kicks" to a midi track, but seems it copies the beat of the audio to a single C note that plays ..

When I bounce down (mix) the audio clip is 1 hour long! Why??

Hi. This is probably a strange problem, but it happens every time I use Sonar. I record a lot of tracks and sometimes some long takes (raw recordings of sound effects etc) and sometimes I'll drag sound clips far to the right (past the 10 minute mark) just to get them out of the way for a while. MP3's not playing on certain devices?

I export to 320 mp3's to get the best quality and then to CD and they play fine on the computer and in the car but won't play on my Sony stereo or a sony boom box.Is there another format to make these work?..

Adjusting keyboard controller sensitivity in X2?

So, is there a way to adjust keyboard sensitivity in Sonar x2? For some reason, in sonar my keyboard velocity sensitivity just drops and I really have to mash the keys when recording, I'm hurting my fingers and I think I will eventually break my keyboard this way...

Issue installing Sonar X2 Studio from download links

Hi, I tried to search this forum for this topic but it seems unresponsive. Anyway, I bought X2 Studio online (4 part download link) and was trying to install on my PC. The first file (part1) will start extracting but never do anything afterwards,,,,seems like the installation just aborts. Any ideas ..

Sound glitches when dragging patterns while playing
