Missing the yellow pitch lines on pitch editor

When I select a portion of a vocal clip for v-vocal there are no yellow pitch lines for the track. Just the audio track. Needless to say, v-vocal is unusable without the correctable pitch lines. Please Help! What is wrong here?..

Resolved: X2 take lanes, no waveform

I'm not seeing any waveform in the take lanes. I see a waveform when recording, but it disappears after recording stops. The take lanes show (busy) for a while but no data/waveform is displayed.
