Free MIDI drum loops

Although I may get raised eyebrows from some, where can I get some inexpensive, if not FREE MIDI drum loops like the ones used in EZD? fills, beats, etc. Also... how about some mallet work on cymbals..

have you guys seen this feature? if Sonar would do something similar - this would be fantastic!..

Side Chain Compression

Hi,I've just search the forum using the header "side chain compression" not a lot comes up, had a look on you tubeit's mostly FL Studio or Logic or Ableton, but nothing for Sonar X2, anyone help me out and explain how I do this. ThanksJohn..

Drying up a drum loop?

I have an audio drum loop I'd like to dry up.IOW take out the reverb tails.Would you use gating or compression?Other methods?..

Need a refresher on creating a gain envelope within a clip ONLY

Seems I never had a problem with envelopes until X1 and X2...now, in x2, I haven't found a way to create a volume/gain envelope only within a clip; even a 'clip envelope' runs the entire track. I am able to delete all the unwanted envelop line outside the clip but surely I'm missing something here. ..

Wicked guitar effect

Where are my guitar virtuosos who can gimme their best guess as to how to create this effect? It's kinda like a tremolo, stutter, random thing. Tutorial on Using BUSSES with Mixes

Has anyone seen a simple tutorial or explanation on how to really use the BUSS feature in X2?I have a couple of sample projects but can't really figure them out. One of the samples has a MIXDOWN slider which appears to only mirror the MASTER so not sure what this is about either...

Hi ,I've dragged and dropped a groove ( a single 4/4 bar) from the SD GUI into an X2 MIDI track and edited it to suit the song. Now I'd like to save it back into SD for future use.Is this possible? thanks..

Problem with Sonar and Reaktor

There are some ensembles in Reaktor which involve working with samples, for example Beatslicer (in New Additions->Sample Player). Here, there is a bar above the sample window which shows the directory path of the sample being worked on, and to load a new sample you right click it and a menu appears ..
