What does installing new X2 plug-ins do to my current plug-ins??

I haven't been here for a while & I must say this NEW forum is like looking through a keyhole!! I hate only being able to see a couple of things at once. I'm installing X2 & had to stop because the "step-by-step" installation instructions are NOT. I have a million questions that I can't find..

Change Color on BreVerb

Narrowed it down for an interface....your opinions...?

I think I've narrowed down my choices for a new audio interface. I'm looking into theFocusrite Scarlett 18i20 which is USB 2.0 .... 18 in / 20 out.or theFocusrite Saffire Pro 40 which is 1394 Firewire .... 20 in/ 20 out.
