PT 11 HDN Install Killed Sonar X1 and X2

Hi everyone, I work on projects in both Sonar and Pro Tools because most of my songwriting is more easily done in Sonar.I am on Win 7/64 pro-built DAW and this is what happened to me.Sonar X1 and PT 1035 working good with Native Card with 16/16 Analog unit and RME FF800 drvr 3.077 side by side both ..

SampleTank 2 Only Works on Outs 1&2?

I'm NOT saying this is a Sonar issue, so everyone pls keep your bloomers on. I already posted this in the Non-CW Instruments forum, just thought if more eyes could see it... Has anyone in the Sonar community that uses ST2 had this problem of only being able to use the 1st stereo out, and no others? ..

Sonar X1 plugin management problems.

Hi.. Hope theres a quick fix for this... My browser uses a saved and ordered plugin layout with no problems.. But if I use the insert synth from the menu aystem using the same plugin layout on the tracks or menu the wrong synth/fx appears! Any ideas? Rescan all plugins??..

Complete Newbie alert - help needed

Hi, I purchased Sonar X1 Studio after years of working with cubase on an atari ST. Am trying to get started with it but am having no luck. MY set up is an I5 hp pavillion with a usb m audio keyrig 49 and m audio fast track pro sound card. as both of these are USB connections they connected to differ..

Pentagon error: "is not properly installed" after X2a update (SOLVED)

After install X2a update, I cant load Pentagon. Pentagon give me a error: Failed to insert soft synth. Pentagon is maybe not properly installed...

EQ Envelope

I want to use an EQ to remove things like hissing sounds, lip pops, etc. But I may not want to do it for the entire vocal section. I would like to use the EQ Envelope in Cakewalk 8.3. But after turning on the "Enable Band" and then adding several other bands I could not hear any difference in voice ..

Channel saturation

So...if my limited knowledge of channel strips, SSLs, VCC, etc., is correct...part of the goal is to INTENTIONALLY drive them hot and trim them back for the purpose of creating harmonic distortion that wasn't originally present? Sorry if this sounds like a newbie question, but, well...I'm a newbie....

Help with VSt plugins Sonar X1

Unfortunately I needed to do a bit of houskeeping for space on my drive.I am running Sonar X1 64bit with some 32 bit VST's.I removed my versions of Sonar 7 and 8.5 (bad idea, big time)Now I am unable to run the 32 bit VST's.All sorts of problems as can be imagined. Any ideas on where I can reinstall..

Any Experience using Amplesound's Guitar VST's with Sonar X2?

I am really interested in purchasing a guitar VST that will allow me to make reasonable guitar parts via a MIDI controller. Amplesound has some VST's that look promising. Has anyone use any of their synth's with SONAR? Are there any successful alternatives?..
