Baffled... Only a few clips in entire session are producing audio

Urgently need help with this mystery of a situation. My session has 30 something tracks and 10 buses. I was doing some work on 3 select clips, panning and soloing, looping etc., until the session wouldn't play for no apparent reason as though the audio engine had halted. I eventually just reboote..

I just buyed the X2 studio upgrade and wonder, what is the difference from X1 studio to X2 studio version any major diffrence ? And is this a full product, like i do not need to have X1 installed at all for me to install the new X2 studio version ?..

EQ presets for Sonitus EQ

I'm trying to improve the overall quality of my mixes and was wondering if anybody has EQ presets for the Sonitus that they want to share. I know the best tool for improving a mix is is the human ear but it would be great if I had a jumping off point for say bass guitar, bass drum, snare, male vox, ..

Why are mix controls on cloned instrument tracks linked?

I have cloned an instrument track. What I want is for them to be completely independent of each other. But what I find is that the mix controls (mute/solo/volume etc) on each track are linked. If I solo one, the other one solos. If I increase the volume on one, the volume is increased on the other. ..
