File recovery help

File recovery........ Anyone have a solution for recovering a corrupted file that will no longer open normally other than manually picking audio WAV. pieces by their recorded sequence and pasting them together in a new file? Can you load your own loops (audio) into it and drive it from a midi track like any other instrument? Synced to project tempo, presumably? Two peculiarities with File-Export-Audio
