Snap to grid not behaving well

I use SONAR Home Studio 6. I'm using the Snap to Grid tool. When I get to the next measure the snap stops working and snaps to it.Does anyone know if its possible to stop this from happening? V-Vocal Sound Distortion Problems

I have used V-vocal successfully for years, but recently I noticed a very obvious flange sounding distortion on parts of the vocal track, wherever I apply pitch correction, even for very slight changes in pitch.
