Opening x1 projects with VST's minimized.

Is there a way to have the vst windows set to be minimized when you open a project. Every time I open a project the Sonar view is blocked from sight by any vst windows I am using and then I have to close them all. I have searched for an answer but can't find one...

Quickly transposing midi notes up or down an octave?

I found out about the nudge up and nudge down key bindings, but this will only nudge by a semitone. Would there be another way, then, of selecting notes in the PRV and instantly shifting it up or down an octave? Perhaps some .ini wizardry of some sort to change the amount of semitones of nudge up/do..

New PC install process

Hello, I am upgrading my PC and installing Win8. I have had Sonar since Sonar 7 and I'm just wondering, do I have to install that version and then all of the subsequent upgrades I purchased all the way up to X2, or is there a way for me to just install X2 using my downloaded upgrade installer?..
