Restore VST Plugins after Clean Install of Windows 7?

I did a clean install to upgrade from VISTA to Windows 7 and reinstalled Sonar and then moved my old VST plugins (from windows.old) to the new systems/program files/Cakewalk/vstplugins folder. Exported mix dont sound the same when played back???
